Hi Bill, could you clarify, do you mean when viewing your profile on the web - or within the iPhone app itself? We have only implemented the display of user avatars on the web side at this time - we will include them within the next iphone update.

If you mean it isn't displaying on the web, then that would appear to be a bug. Let me know which it is and i'll investigate.

on the app, the picture hasnt changed..thought once i had signed in on net and uploaded an avatar would change on app. How do i put a picture on the app?

put Avatar picture on web but thought would change picture on app? how have some businesses got pictures? Please advise.. (sorry if this comment is duplicated net book playing silly buggers tonight)

I'm afraid the iPhone app doesn't yet print a user avatar - just the default.
User avatars work on the web app of course (that's where you'll have uploaded it, on your profile page).
There are no businesses with user Avatars on the iPhone.
All images on the iphone are Photo's taken with a check-in. You can do the same by checking in at your businesses location with a photo. If you have already done this, then you can add a picture to the checkin on the web site.

The next version of the iPhone app will include Avatars.
